LEI.INFO offers free LEI Search Engine available on the home page of this site. You can search through the space of all LEIs using any part of the legal entity name or its address. You can also search the space using the LEI code of your partner.

LEI.INFO acts as linked data resolver. Essentially it replaces the pure LEI code by a working web address (an URL):
5493001KJTIIGC8Y1R12 → http://lei.info/5493001KJTIIGC8Y1R12
You can use the same URL to retrieve the LEI data in various formats. Your application can use a feature called “Content Negotiation” to request one of the many data formats. See here for more details.
The data can also be easily retrieved by adding a specific extension to the URL. For example, using https://lei.info/5493001KJTIIGC8Y1R12.xml will return the original LEI CDF (Common Data Format – described here) , while https://lei.info/5493001KJTIIGC8Y1R12.ttl will return the LEI data in Turtle format (as described here)
LEI.INFO is the first publicly available service using Linked Data formats, also known as Semantic Web formats. These formats are the most advanced data formats available today. In addition to the simplicity of their use, they are in essence self-describing formats. Thanks to this aspect of LEI.INFO, you can easily integrate the data from LEI.INFO with your applications. The integration is essentially much easier than with any Web API available today. In addition to that, LEI.INFO comes with its own, award winning Ontology called GLEIO™ . Read about the ontology here.
Unlike most other sources of LEI data available today, LEI.INFO includes historical data about the LEI records for the legal entities.
To view past information about a legal entity on a yearly basis, you can select the Historic Data option:
