Where does the LEI.INFO data come from?
The data regarding the Legal Entities, made accessible in the given format (as described at https://lei.info/portal/resources/how-to-use/), originate from the web-based resources made available by the Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF – www.gleif.org). This data is updated daily and is then transformed into Semantic Web formats, as described at https://lei.info/portal/resources/semantic-lei-data/ without changing of any of the essential information. The original data set for each of the Legal Entities – as it is made available by GLEIF – is also published.
Who can use the LEI.INFO Portal?
Anybody can access LEI.INFO – for the purpose of finding a legal entity by searching its name or LEI code. LEI.INFO can also display basic information regarding the legal entity, or provide a basic dataset describing the entity. This use LEI.INFO is, and will always remain, free of charge.
When commercial services become available on the Portal, they may be used by any person or organization which intends to enter into a contract with MakoLab USA Inc. (d.b.a. LEI.INFO), 2153 S.E. Hawthorne Road, Suite 205, Gainesville, Florida 32641 and which accepts these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Permitted use and regulations of the LEI.INFO Portal.
